Five Women'S Altar (Detail)
title Five Women'S Altar (Detail)description Cat. 3 022(6) From Galería de la Raza/Studio 24's Day of the Dead Exhibition. Photo is of a multi-leveled altar adorned with marigolds, calaveras, small sculptures, corn husks, and feathers. Detail is of the uppermost portion of the altar, which features feathers and corn husks behind a white mask. Beside the mask are statues of the Virgen de Guadalupe and Ganesa and a candle. The next level down features calaveras and marigolds. The artist of any work retains all rights to that work. Copyright has not been assigned to the Regents of the University of California. The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction.
