Two Mexican American Sisters
title Two Mexican American Sistersdescription Angelina and Belinda Ramos grew up in East Los Angeles. Their family first settled in East L.A. in 1928. Angelina would go on to start a public affairs firm in 1987 called Eventfully Yours. Around 1990-91, Angelina married then-L.A. city councilman Richard Alatorre. In 1993, she was a member of the National Women's Political Caucus, director of the Mariachi Heritage Society, and director of the El Sereno Youth Development Corp.
