"The Puppet Theater was received very well by the children, providing humor, imagination, and creative responses. This was one of the first activities Gloria and Salvador Torres offered the children upon their visit to their home. This sets the tempo for their visit. Clay, Portable Mural, Plaster of Paris Pendulum Painting, Visit to Gloria and Salvador Torres Gallery, and tour of Gloria and Salvador Torres mural workshop. Then return to Chicano Park, got activities on the Kiosco, Play equipment and Lunch on the lawns, return to school. Itinerary, 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM with lunch at 11:30 to 12:30."
