Cristina, Que En Paz Descanses!)description Cat.1 059 From the Ceremony of Memory Exhibition organized by Patricio Chavez at Centro Cultural de la Raza (November 17, 1989-January 21, 1990). A painting of Saint Christina is repeated seven times, growing progressively smaller, on a diagonal that recedes into the distance. The paintings are standing on a checkered floor and a strip of stars and an angel hover above. Doll heads, hands and torsos form a border at the bottom. The artist of any work retains all rights to that work. Copyright has not been assigned to the Regents of the University of California. The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction.
