James G. Hale House
title James G. Hale Housedescription Designed by George W. Morgan and built in 1887, this home was declared an historic monument by the Los Angeles Cultural Heritage Board in June 1966. It is called an "outstanding example of the late Victorian period in Los Angeles and embodies the essence of most of the typical features of this historic style." It was first located at 4501 North Figueroa (originally Pasadena Avenue), then moved to 4425 N. Figueroa. In 1970, it was moved to Heritage Square Museum in Montecito Heights, shown here.
