title Chili Shrinedescription Cat.1 094 From the Ceremony of Memory Exhibition curated by Patricio Chavez at Centro Cultural de la Raza (November 17, 1989-January 21, 1990). This caja is entirely red except for the angels' faces on the gable and doors and a gold halo around the large chili in the center of the box. Flames lick the base of the chili and lights shaped like chilis line the box. The artist of any work retains all rights to that work. Copyright has not been assigned to the Regents of the University of California. The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material. Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction.
