Pamphlet: Mexican Calendar Legends
Creator
Description
Pamphlet that advertises an exhibition that was presented by the Mexic-Arte Museum entitled "Mexican Calendar Legends". The cover of the pamphlet highlights a fully-colored picture of a painting that depicts an Aztec warrior wearing an orange feathered headdress and gold armor. He is holding a woman who is passed out in his arms; she is wearing a decorated white dress and a flower in her hair. The pamphlet folds out vertically to span three and a half panels long. The half panel, which is at the top, includes the title in large yellow letters as well as three logos from sponsors. The two subsequent panels feature a large, fully colored photograph of a painting of a giant woman walking toward a sail ship that is beached in the background. The woman, who is wearing a white lace dress, is looking behind her. The photo of the painting makes up the background of the two panels. The panels also include the date and times of the opening reception and a members-only guided tour.
