Description
Photograph of an artwork in the Anacronistas exhibit at the Mexic-Arte Museum in Austin, Texas. Anacronistas, an exhibition of work by Einer and Jamex de la Torre, ran from January 12th, 2001 to February 24th, 2001. The artwork is modeled off of a Mayan pyramid. It is large, green, and has glass steps which are partially painted red. Disembodied arms holding broken wine bottles covered in red paint are attached to the sides of the pyramid. Details of faces, fire, and water also appear.
