From the Ceremony of Memory Exhibition organized by Patricio Chavez at Centro Cultural de la Raza (November 17, 1989-January 21, 1990). The intaglio print (Nebulous Rites) is an abstract hourglass shape. The wooden, rectangular box (Reliquary) is divided into four equal sections and fitted with four individual display boxes that can be removed. Three of the boxes have butterflies in them, one has a chrysalis.
